Known for his big personality and natural ability to build and manage relationships, Lee Johnson is a vital part of the Ascent Business Partners’ Board. The core of these traits developed early on as he played football for BYU, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and was a member of the 1984 National Championship team. Following his college career, Lee spent 18 seasons in the NFL as a punter while also running his own successful hedge fund and several other prosperous business ventures. With all his success, Lee is grounded and most proud of his family. Married to Shelley Dixon, where they are the admired parents of seven children and fourteen grandchildren. Lee remains unstoppable and enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling and doing anything outdoors.
